I got an extremely spacious room with 4 beds. Appreciated the decent meals and incredible breakfast.

Huge and functional rooms, plus the staff is friendly.

The breakfast spread was incredible and great, with a wide range of decent options. The location was awesome and the private parking was on site.

The rooms are air conditioned and neat, and are complete with a bunk bed, bathtub, storage space. The breakfast is delicious and incredible, has many choices.

Central location, close to cathedral and train station. Upgraded to a spacious, clean, and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Walkable distance to attractions, no need for daily transport ticket. Convenient Sunday shopping at train station.

A fairly nice way to end my christmas. Everything was awesome - huge rooms and great breakfasts. A great selection of goodies for breakfast...

It was very nice hotel with free and fast wifi internet connection, good breakfast and pleasant stuff. Located in city center near two longest shopping streets, Hohe Straße and Schildergasse Straße, makes it good choice for shopaholics.

Excellent position to visit the city and also a good price,staff friendly.

Some particular of the rooms are old and not functional.(for examples wardrobe and shower).it' s a sin because with a litle cost this particular could be repair.

had an amazing stay at a&o köln! staff were super helpful and spoke good english. breakfast was brilliant with a variety of options. loved the convenient location near the city centre and cathedral square. private secure car park was a plus.

Noisy trains passing by day and night.

We had a warm welcome and helpful service from the reception. The room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers was spacious and the buffet breakfast had an excellent range and was delicious! There was a playground next door which is great for younger children (and teenagers as well!). It was convenient for the railway, shopping near the cathedral and also 'ordinary' shopping in a street nearby. There was some noise from the railway but it didn't disturb us at all. The hotel's position is in a quiet street with little traffic with airy views to the nearby church. We would definitely choose to go back to this hotel if we returned to Cologne.

We didn't expect it because of the cost but the only thing that would have helped would have been a lift for the luggage. Apart from this, everything was great.

Not the Hotel itself, which was fine, but it is located near to the railway - but that is hardly a secret and we knew it beforehand - so absolutely no criticism iof the hotel itself.

We greatly enjoyed its location, it was handy and decent and just off local supermarkets and shopping away from the tourist areas, main train station, Dom and major shopping areas, and cathedral and Christmas markets. Tried some nice meals at Il Cancello, located 4-6 minutes' walking distance from the hotel.

We had a great stay at A & O! The location was ideal, just a few minutes walk from the main station, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was spacious, with comfortable beds and ample storage space. The bathroom was also roomy, with a large and efficient shower. We loved the buffet breakfast, which had a good selection and was available from 7am onwards. It was also a short distance from the cathedral we were visiting. The view from our room of St. Ursula and the surrounding trees was lovely, and the large windows provided plenty of natural light. Plus, the hotel is close to the train station, making it convenient for travel.
